and Humanities Symposium

March 26-27, 2009

The results of research paper submissions (selections for oral and poster presentations) for 2009 have been posted at this link. Guidelines for poster and oral presentations have been posted at this link.

The Northern NJ Junior Science and Humanities Symposium is an annual research fair held at Rutgers University that celebrates high school students' novel investigations in science, engineering, and mathematics. The program is open to any high school students in northern or parts of central New Jersey. For students in southern or other parts of central New Jersey, please contact the Monmouth JSS. To enter JSHS, students submit papers detailing their original research. The authors of the top submissions are invited to give oral and poster presentations at our 2009 Symposium, which will be held on March 26th and 27th, 2009, on the Rutgers Busch Campus. The top finishers at our symposium are eligible for scholarships, expenses paid trips to the 2009 National Symposium in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and other awards.

The Junior Science and Humanities Symposia (JSHS) Program is jointly sponsored by the United States Departments of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, in cooperation with leading research universities throughout the nation. The Department of Defense generously provides funding for the National symposium and JSHS scholarships.
